That slogan means that everything we put in every Miners Mix product is the real thing, just as it would have been blended back in the days of the gold miners who used to walk the Mother Lode region of California. Our seasonings are an outgrowth of tending grills and smokers in searing desert heat, snow and sleet. Miners Mix is the result of our dissatisfaction with commercial seasoning blends that tend to be loaded with salt and little else beyond MSG, preservatives and artificial flavors. We have no idea how to blend flavors using free-flowing agents, flavor enhancers, preservatives, or artificial anything, and so Miners Mix contains none of those. When you taste Miners Mix on a steak, piece of chicken, or some grilled mushrooms and so much more ---- you really do taste the food, just as those gold miners did so many years ago.
